A life spent
looking closer.

I photograph the things that can disappear while we’re busy looking somewhere else: a little tenderness in a crowded room, the concentration in somebody’s hands, the expression before the pose.

My path has taken me from the Windsor area through Toronto and west to Vancouver. What I carry between places is a way of paying attention. People, their work, their relationships and their ordinary courage keep giving me reasons to pick up a camera.

My approach is candid first. There is room for direction, for dramatic light, for a carefully built image. There is also room to pause, move around, laugh, change the plan and be a person.

Photographs are one part of the story.

Music and worldbuilding are another. The Year Book moves through King of the Rise, Journey Through Memories, The Seed, Return of the Crown and the beginnings of Catalyst. The Kingdom gives those themes voices: Aurelian, Criminal Code, Amélie Grey, Eonix and the wider cast.

These worlds share an instinct: keep what matters, make something honest from it, and leave the door open for what comes next.
